- Initially we formed groups for assignment 1.

we then begun to examine the First assignment.
- breaking down the CRA- A Quarter of the mark will go to presentation, decided to eventually design a template that all portfolio exemplars will follow. - roughly looked at Info that will be important.
- decided that we would have another group meeting monday at 1pm. by this stage we will all have a few example to discuss and we can stat to organise into some sort of structure/ template.
- whole group unsure about terminology difference type of urban housing then doing and typological approach and so sort explanation from both Tutors.
- Typology brainstorm , came up with the idea to look at public housing as a type of urban housing v's other possible typologies in order to help with final design research.
- important info to find:
# of units, climate, architect/ date completed, philosophy, density requirements? , connectivity, layout of interior space, ecological footprint, plot ratio, type of space, internal environment, internal functional zone relationship. public space utilisation, proximity to transport, sustainability.

- We then did the class exercise of doing sketches of some of the multi residential examples we had seen.




- for next meeting on monday - we will each have examples and have chosen roughly 3 to discuss in detail
- for class next week we will have at least 2 examples critiqued to pin up and todays class exercise to show.
